The High Court today would not surrender bail to Mahmudul Hasan, a sub-controller of Dhaka’s Kotwali Police Station and nephew of suspended Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Mizanur Rahman, in a degradation case.
The court, regardless, issued a standard asking the Anti-Corruption Commission and the governing body to explain in about a month why Mahmudul Hasan should not be permitted bail for the circumstance.
The HC in like manner requested Hasan to light up the source from his properties to this court through swearing a promise in about a month as he said in the bail offer that he had much wealth before joining the movement.
The HC seat of Justice Md Nazrul Islam Talukder and Justice KM Hafizul Alam thought of the standard and solicitation in the wake of hearing the bail bid recorded by Hasan with respect to the case.
Advertiser Rabiul Alam Budu appeared for Hasan while Advocate Khurshid Alam Khan battled for the ACC.
On June 24 this year, ACC recorded the case with its Integrated District Office in Dhaka against the suspended DIG Mizanur Rahman, his significant other Sohelia Anar Ratna and nephew Mahmudul Hasan on charges of gathering over Tk 3 crore past known wellsprings of pay.
On July 4, a Dhaka court sent Mahmudul Hasan to detain after he surrendered before it in the pollution case.
